Become a trustee
Become a Member Nominated Trustee Director
We’re on the lookout for a Member Nominated Trustee Director (MNTD) to join the Trustee Board of the Hanson Industrial Pension Scheme (the Scheme).
You can help decide how the Scheme is run for members.
The current term for one of our MNTDs, Helen Mayfield, ends on 30 August 2025.
As an MNTD of the Scheme, it’d be your role, alongside the other Trustee Directors, to ensure the Scheme runs smoothly.
Being a Trustee is an important job. The Trustees are constantly facing new and complex challenges as investment markets develop and pensions legislation changes. Whilst you don’t need to be a pensions expert, as an MNTD you'll need to build a thorough understanding of how the Scheme operates so you’ve got the knowledge and confidence to make decisions alongside the other Trustee Directors.
The best Trustee Boards are made up of people with a wide range of skills, experiences and perspectives. That’s why we’re looking forward to hearing from members from all backgrounds. You don’t need to know everything about pensions to become an MNTD, and there’s no minimum number of years you need to have worked at Heidelberg Materials.
Things you need to know
