The Trustees of the Company’s defined benefit (DB) pension schemes have written to some former members about a ‘redress’ payment that may be due in relation to past transfers out from the schemes.

Hanson Industrial Pension Scheme - Defined Contribution (HIPS DC)
If you're a new joiner to Hanson UK or have joined since 1st October 2010 you'll be registered to this scheme.
Hanson Industrial Pension Scheme - Defined Benefit (HIPS DB)
This is a legacy scheme that has been closed to new entrants since June 2002.
Castle Pension Scheme (CPS)
These were the Castle Pension Scheme and the Castle Works Scheme and they also incorporated the RTZ Scheme benefits.

This is a section within the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme, a defined benefit scheme for the electricity industry.
